Current limitations in the Maze Walker engine
This game was designed for and performs best in Google Chrome.
Add the game to your home screen for the best mobile experience.
A note to all Safari users: the Safari browser is not well suited for mobile gaming. Safari limits functionality, in the name of security, but unfortunately also limits the possible user experience that can be created within the browser. It is strongly advised that you install Google Chrome for the best user experience.

The security model in browsers prevents entering fullscreen from a gamepad action. The gamepad has been disabled on the startup dialog because the game cannot be started fullscreen if the gamepad is used to acknowledge the startup dialog. Also, the fullscreen toggle will not enter fullscreen when using the gamepad; the mouse must be used instead.
-
It is not possible to detected all hardware and software mute states within the browser. The game may indicate that sound is on, but something external to the browser may have muted the audio.

The "Request desktop site" options in mobile Chrome can cause display and input problems.

Firefox currently has a bug where querying for a gamepad will result in dramatically increased CPU usage. Refreshing the browser also does not stop the problem, unless CTRL-F5 is used. See Bug 1318839 for the current status with Mozilla, but it is currently marked as resolved, yet the behaviour seems to persist. I am hoping this will be fixed, but if not, one idea I have is to disable gamepad support unless the user specifically turns it on.

Internet Explorer security prevents entering fullscreen from a keyboard action. The game will not be started fullscreen if the keyboard is used to acknowledge the startup dialog. Also, the fullscreen toggle will not enter fullscreen if the keyboard is used; the mouse must be used instead.
-
Internet Explorer does not support gamepads.
Apple Safari (MacBook) users
-
Safari browser security restricts keyboard input in fullscreen mode. Some keys will not work at all, others will have undesirable side effects. See
Bug 121496 for the current status with Apple, but this issue will likely never be resolved by Apple.
-
When the Safari window is maximized and the game is in fullscreen mode, there is a white band at the bottom of the display. If the window is not maximized, fullscreen mode displays properly.
-
Some sound effects have been disabled in Safari because the browser is unable to play sounds quickly enough to synchronize them with user actions.
-
When 2 finger input is used on the touch pad (same function as right click movement), the input turning is very unresponsive. It is better to turn on the touch controls and click those controls for a more responsive input.
-
The touch pad has a pinch to zoom functionality which when used can cause display and input problems.
-
Safari does not support gamepads.
Safari mobile (iPhone) users
-
Safari mobile only allows web pages to enter fullscreen if they are started from the home screen. Add the page to your home screen to prevent the browser controls from occupying the display and covering up content within the page.
-
Safari mobile does not support wake locking. When the gyroscope is being used for input, the screen saver will activate and the device will enter sleep mode. You must tap the screen when it dims to cancel sleep mode.
-
Safari mobile produces an undesirable whole page bounce when content within a page is scrolled. This occurs on the startup dialog and within the help / options pages.
-
Safari mobile does not allow the volume of audio played by the page to be controlled by the page. This results in a much poorer audio experience and some audio has been disabled all-together.
-
Safari mobile cannot produce proper shadows, so shadows have been disabled.
-
Safari mobile has a double tap to zoom functionality which when used can cause display and input problems.
-
Safari mobile does not support force feedback vibration.
